I recently got the opportunity to sit down and chat with Chris Estrada on his podcast, Coworking Success. It was really nice to reflect on how far HTMLFusion has come and how much co-working has played a role in that growth. As his podcast highlights, many of the best developments in HTMLFusion's story were the result of 'collisions' in the co-working space where our office is located (NextSpace LA).
I won't rehash it all here - because you should listen to the podcast of course - the short versions is... it hasn’t always been an easy road for me and my work. But it has always been an exciting one.
"It's all about people. Ideas are awesome and processes or software are technology solutions - all those things evolve all the time and change, but what matters is how good the people are and how good people are interacting with each other." - Philippe Lewicki
Ideas are awesome. And great products that improve the human experience are always at the center of what we do. But in the technology world everything changes over time. Even the most progressive advances are outdated quickly. Evolution and newness is the only thing we can count on. The thing that never changes is the importance of being surrounded and supported by a community of bright, creative, people who can contribute to each other's greatest potential.
I have met countless brilliant individuals through the co-working communities I have participated in. I have been at NextSpace in Culver City for four years and I have seen my business grow exponentially. I’d recommend any aspiring entrepreneurs, whether you’re a web developer or just blogging from your living room – check out NextSpace or another co-working location. Great communities inspire creativity and help you push past your own limitations and grow.
